INFOS VOM VERANSTALTER (7.7.)

Arrival for camping

The earliest arrival for camping is on Thursday at 07.00h. Due to the limited space it isn’t possible to have nations camping. But everything is very close and you can reach each other quickly.

Nations corner

Just next to the three rings there is a field with natural grass. You have the possibility to put your nation corner incl. tents there. If it isn’t possible to bring your own tents, you can rent gazebos from us. The price therefore is CHF 15.-/day and per gazebo (3x3m). Please let us know until Tuesday 23.59h how many you need. You can pay the rent in cash at the teamleader meeting.

Teamleader meeting

The meeting with all teamleaders will be held on Thursday evening at 20.00h in the JEO Office (please follow the signs). You will get all stuff needed for the kids and teens at this meeting as well as two batches for entering the course walking. Please bring the dogs licences to this meeting. You will also have to sign a confirmation of responsibility for all participants of your country.

Vet/medication

There will be a vet on site during the whole event. Please let me know if you need support for getting home (e.g. medication), so that I can advise our vet.

Swimming/Beach Volleyball

The lake of Constance is right next to the venue. It is possible to swim there incl. the dogs. Please be aware that there will be no lifeguard on duty and swimming is on everybody’s own risk. It is also possible to use the beach volleyball fields at the Bodensee Arena, just without the dogs 😊. Please make sure to bring your own volley ball.

Song for the opening ceremony

If your country has a special song you would like to hear during your entrance at the opening ceremony, please let me know until Wednesday 23.59h.

Flags for the opening ceremony

Please bring a lot of flags from your country to the opening ceremony 😊

Parking on site

Especially on Thursday and Friday we have very limited parking space available. If you and your competitors are not staying at the camping site, please make sure to either walk from your hotel to the venue (if possible) or team up with other participants in order to arrive with as few cars as possible. Parking needs to be paid on site at the parking booth and is CHF 30.- for the entire event.
