Info von agilitnow.eu (6. Mai 2021):
Finland comes to the premiere of the new format of the Junior Open Agility World Championship two years later than planned. The Finnish Agility Association announced this on the official homepage. As with the original event, which had to be canceled due to the corona pandemic, Petr Pupik and local hero Anders Virtanen will be part of the event as judges. At that time the tournament was planned in the Hakunila Sports Park in Vantaa. Whether it will also take place in Vantaa in 2022 has not yet been confirmed. The date has not yet been announced either.
The Junior Open Agility World Championship was previously the Junior European Open. The FCI announced the name change in October 2019 because the previous name was no longer entirely appropriate. The name change was also expected to result in a further upgrade of the tournament. In both 2020 and 2021 in Portugal, the event had to be canceled. With the advancing vaccinations the Finnish Agility Association looks confidently into the future. So Finland comes to the premiere tournament of the Junior Open Agility World Championship – Two years later than usually planned.
